Jason
Engkjer joined KWGC first as a law clerk, then as an associate
attorney
in 2002. Jason represents a wide array of clients throughout Minnesota
and Eastern North Dakota. He practices primarily in the areas of
Commercial Litigation, Corporate Planning and Transactions, Transportation
Law and Business Resolution.
Jason was named a “Rising Star” by Minnesota Law & Politics
magazine in
2008. He also sits on the Board of Directors of the Epilepsy Foundation
of
Minnesota, a non-profit organization focused on educating, connecting
and
empowering people affected by seizures.
Jason is the co-editor of
KWGC’s bi-annual News Brief
and enjoys speaking to private groups and associations on various
business litigation and corporate planning topics. Jason takes
special pride in ensuring that his clients receives the
type of effective and efficient representation they deserve.
Jason's clients appreciate his practical views on complex issues,
and ability to keep their business needs in mind when considering
legal issues. His previous sales experience served him well and
provided him with a solid understanding of how business works.
Jason
has been happily married to his wife Sarah since November 2004.
Jason and Sarah recently celebrated the birth of their
first child in February 2007. Jason enjoys spending time
in the outdoors with his family and friends.
